A great opportunity to put into practise all of the Weapon Handling Training you have been going through. 

The DCCT range or Dismounted Close Combat Trainer is basically a ‘live’ firing range – but computerised – basically the most expensive ‘Playstation’ you will ever have used!!

As No actual ‘live rounds’ are fired you get the opportunity to experience what it is like to shoot the L98 Cadet Rifle in a safe and non-pressured environment. You will be using a real L98 rifle and go through all of your ‘Live-firing’ training – you will experience what it is like to load and fire the rifle at targets set at different ranges and feel the recoil of the weapon as it fires.

Even better, because the DCCT range is a computer it can analyse how you are holding the rifle, using the sights and squeezing the trigger – from this information you will be given feedback to help you improve your skills so that when you get to a ‘live’ range you will already be a sharpshooter.

This is a highly recommended activity and will help take away any of the mystery surrounding firing on the range
